About Me

In July 2020, I made my feature film debut as the protagonist in Escape 2120, based on Brian Bennett's novel The Magician's Horses. It is available on various platforms and has since become the most popular film on Encourage TV with over 11 million views.

I have also had lead roles in various dramatic and comedic indie films including an award winning Monty Python style spoof set in a Game of Thrones World. Check out News for more information on my upcoming film projects.

On stage, I have specialised in comedic leads ranging from Ken Gorman in the Neil Simon farce, Rumors, Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the personable recluse, John Brown in Tom Stoppard’s A Separate Peace. I also played The Boy in a devised version of The Giving Tree adapted from the famous Shel Silverstein Book in the spring of 2021.

I am currently pursuing my MFA at the renowned Actors Studio Drama School in New York City.

As well as acting, I write, animate and compose. I am a lifelong Chelsea FC fan and love playing all sorts of sports!

“Pritchard is hilarious in his portrayal of Ken Gorman. After temporarily losing his hearing due to a misfired gunshot toward the beginning of the play, the character’s humor develops around his physicality as well as his hilarious misunderstandings. Moments of Ken-based hilarity include crawling around on the floor following mysterious yet “cat sounds.” Pritchard brings his own unique energy to the role—a naïveté accented by a heroic passion that, given the absurdity of the play, becomes delightful and fascinating to watch.”

Review of my performance in Neil Simon's Farce, Rumors.

"Kudos to Edward Pritchard ‘18, who played a spot-on Rocky in shockingly gold shorts!"

Review of my performance as Rocky Horror in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
